Mpower
has served as consultant's to The Practice Marketers since September
2002, providing assistance in the areas of strategic and operational
planning, human resources development and overall company capacity
building. As of June 2004, Mpower's role has shifted to become our
outsourced HR advisor, continuing to provide assistance whenever
we require any type of HR advice or services.
Allan
MacKenzie has been a key resource person in the growth of our enterprise,
most noteworthy in the area of human resources development. He has
led and given practical guidance with the following initiatives;
- Facilitating
the development of our firm's strategic intent, key strategic
indicators and overall organizational strategy.
- Facilitating
quarterly operational action planning sessions.
- Facilitating
bi-monthly management meetings between the President and key staff.
- Developing
written position specification profiles for all positions within
the firm.
- Developing
written performance agreements (i.e. job descriptions) for all
positions within the firm.
- Creating
an operations manual template for all staff positions.

Providing hands-on assistance with our recruitment and hiring
process. He has handed everything from the creation of job ads,
resume screening, tele-interviews, psychometric assessments, in-person
interviews and background checking. As well as the development
of employment offer letters, confidentially and non-compete agreements.
