Allan
is Mpowers senior Human Capital Specialist and oversees
all client engagements. He devotes his endless energy and
excitement in helping them build extraordinary sustainable
enterprises.

Allan
has over 20 years experience in the human resources field; including
time as a managing partner of an executive coaching firm; training
director of a consulting and training company serving over 100 different
corporations and non-profit organizations; and a number of years
in progressive HR Management positions within the tourism and retail
sectors.
He is also a lecturer at the University of Guelph and adjunct professor
in the Faculty's of Business at Conestoga, Mohawk and Sheridan Colleges.

He
holds a B.Sc from the University of Toronto and is a MBA candidate
focusing on Strategic Human Resources Management at the University
of Phoenix. In addition, he is a graduate of the Human Resources
Management Program from Conestoga College in Kitchener, ON and the
Strategic Business Management Program from the E-Myth Academy in
Santa Rosa, CA, as well as a professional member of the Human Capital
Institute in Washington, DC.

Allan has worked with some of Canada's leading organizations, such
as: Xerox Canada, Connaught Labs, Novartis, Nortel, Hydro One, Cyanamid
Canada, RCMP, SC Johnson Canada, Petro-Canada, Mountain Equipment
Coop and Sportchek; as well as dozens of entrepreneurial and mid-sized
companies. He has led numerous workshops and seminars in talent
acquisition strategies, employment branding, human capital management
and leadership. He is known for his great sense of humor, combined
with an uncanny ability to ask just the right questions to guide
people in articulating and implementing successful human capital
strategies that get results.
He
plays an active role in the business community of Canada's Technology
Triangle, volunteering with the Business Enterprise Centers and
the Chambers of Commerce in both Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo.
In 2003, he led his firm in the achievement of the Guelph Quality
Award Certificate of Merit for performance and outstanding contribution
made in the improvement of quality in the service sector.
In his spare time Allan enjoys reading about philosophy, ethics,
business, leadership, and nature awareness. Having a great passion
for the natural world, Allan loves to explore wild places at an
extreme level, while appreciating nature's beauty and calmness.
His favorite outdoor adventure activities include mountain biking,
whitewater paddling, marathon canoe tripping and mountaineering.
